I am very new to blogging and I am excited about this bloghop! I have visited other bloghops but I have never been a participant. As I have previously posted, this bloghop is all about sharing the art that has been created from students of Junelle Jacobson's online class "The Art of Wild Abandonment". This workshop has been a remarkable experience. Junelle is so down to earth and you can feel the love she has put forth in this class. I had the pleasure of taking another online class that Junelle gave in collaboration with Christy Tomlinson in Dec. of 2011. . . this online workshop was called "The 12 Ornaments of Christmas". That is when I first was introduced to Junelle and her work and have been an avid follower of her blog, http://yesandamen.blogspot.com, and art since.
This workshop has evolved in many of the "students" becoming very active in our private Facebook group. We are all hoping that when this class is taken offline that the Facebook group stays active. We share ideas and help each other with art problems. Many friendships have been made through this art group.
All of us connected with this bloghop hope you will enjoy our artwork as much as we have enjoyed creating it and sharing it with you. Blessings to Junelle and Christy for bringing their talent to us!!!
These "girlies", as I call them, where a result of the earlier class I had taken from Junelle....they are painted on mini canvases . . .
good wishes and happiness to all . . . thank you for visiting!

Claire, I am also happy I joined the hop....it was much fun and a big THANK YOU for all your hard work making it happen. I was apprehensive to start this blog thinking "who in this world cares what I do?" But this was a great venue to begin and through this online class we have been so fortunate to make all these new art friends. It would be wonderful to keep in touch with you and all the other fine gals out there in Junelle Land! Thanks for the sweet comment and good wishes to you over there in the UK.....
DeleteCute girlies! I didn't take that Dec class with Christy to busy in Dec so I try not to take any classes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the stopping and leaving a comment. I was busy in December as well but thought "for the small investment I could even use it in January". My absolute favorite part of that class was being introduce to Junelle. If I hadn't taken the workshop I would had never known about the art of wild abandonment or yes and amen. So I think I was meant to extend myself this time....good wishes to you.....and again thanks for visiting.
